Via a Polish cipher contest I learned to know and use both CrypTool v1 (CT1) in version 1.4.30 and CrypTool v2 (CT2) in version CrypTool 2.1 (Nightly Build 6772.1), and they all worked fine and gave an amazing support in understand encryption and decryption techniques.

So I guess, both the latest version mentioned here (2.0.62221) and Michael's comment from 6 years ago are way out of reflecting the current state.
